About Allison
Allison Fyles is a Senior Claims Specialist at Royal Claims Services Ltd. She manages complex liability claims from investigation through coverage assessment, negotiation and resolution, working through legal documents, accident reports, medical records and expert opinions to build files that stand up.
Allison joined Royal Claims in 2023 after thirty-four years with Wawanesa Mutual Insurance. She started there in underwriting, moved to telephone adjusting in 1996, spent eleven years as a road adjuster on residential and commercial property, business interruption and liability losses, and for her final seven years was a Senior Claims Examiner handling high-value and complex claims: products and bodily injury liability, large fire losses and litigation. Along the way she retained and directed fire investigators, engineers, forensic accountants and counsel, took part in mediations, discoveries and trials, and negotiated settlements directly with insureds, claimants and plaintiff’s counsel.
Allison completed the Insurance Institute of Canada’s claims, property, automobile, underwriting, advanced loss adjusting and fraud courses over the course of her career, and holds a diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. She is based in Alberta.
