About Lea
Lea Langille is a Senior Claims Specialist at Royal Claims Services Ltd. She manages complex litigation files, develops the claims handling strategy and directs legal counsel, coordinates independent adjusters and experts behind effective investigations, carries out the in-depth analysis complex liability claims demand, and manages reporting to insurers and other stakeholders.
Lea joined Royal Claims in July 2026 after twenty years with the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia. For her last nine years there she was a Claims Examiner handling first- and third-party claims, including bad faith and reputational risk matters, determining complex coverage and liability questions, setting litigation strategy on Canadian and US losses and specializing in environmental claims. Before that she adjusted commercial vehicle losses, negotiating downtime, repair, subrogation and towing claims and working targeted fraud operations, and earlier handled passenger vehicle, garage and injury claims on a team dedicated to staged accident rings and registration fraud.
Lea holds the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Victoria. She is based in British Columbia.
