About Ryan
Ryan Demchuk is a Senior Transportation Specialist at Royal Claims Services Ltd. He handles cargo, auto tort, environmental and general liability claims for transportation risks, reviewing policies for coverage issues, setting and holding reserves, coordinating investigations to contain exposure, and engaging experts, vendors and field adjusters across North America.
Ryan joined Royal Claims in March 2022 from the Global Technical Services division of Crawford and Company, where he spent thirteen years and was the control adjuster for several transportation companies and programs placed with national insurers. He attended live losses to see evidence documented and preserved, handled claims in litigation, referred suspected fraud and subrogation, and mentored the junior adjusters on his team.
Ryan holds the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and studied business administration and entrepreneurship at Seneca College. He is a member of the Canadian Independent Adjusters’ Association and is based in Ontario.
