Sarah Hodgins is a Transportation Claims Specialist at Royal Claims Services Ltd. She manages transportation and cargo claims through the claim lifecycle, investigating coverage and liability under the policy and the legislation that applies, coordinating the stakeholders a complex investigation needs, and preparing reports and findings for syndicates.

Sarah joined Royal Claims in February 2026. She began in claims with ClaimsPro in the Northwest Territories, first in administration and then as a multi-line independent adjuster handling personal and commercial losses across northern and western Canada, and served as the branch’s acting manager. From 2018 to 2021 she was Technical Advisor to the Northern Communities Insurance Program, examining municipal property and casualty claims for twenty-four communities in the Northwest Territories, drafting scopes of work and tenders, interpreting territorial legislation and delivering loss prevention workshops to municipal staff. She later coordinated access-to-information and health privacy compliance for the territory’s health authority, and ran her own licensed childcare business before returning to claims.

Sarah is completing her Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation through the Insurance Institute of Canada in the claims adjuster stream, and holds a diploma in Recreation and Leisure Services from Seneca College. She is based in Ontario.
